Jim Wisch

An engineer by trade, Jim spent more than 40 years as owner and president of Wisch & Vaughan Construction Company, working on construction projects in the Jefferson City community. Currently a board member for the Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri, Wisch’s work on the board intersected with his decades of construction experience. The diocese, along with the help of the St. Mary’s Foundation, bought the Shikles Recreation Center to renovate the building into a permanent location for a food bank. In addition to the food bank, he has assisted with construction of new Habitat for Humanity houses after the city's May 2019 tornado.
