Cindy Van Camp grew up in Jefferson City and attended Jefferson City Public Schools. She received her BS degree from William Woods University and a Masters of Education degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She taught learning Disabilities in Marshall, Missouri and Southern Boone County R-1 schools. She is currently employed as a legal assistant at the Van Camp Law Firm.
Cindy volunteers as a Docent for the Missouri Governor’s Mansion and is past chairman of the Friends of the Missouri Governor’s Mansion Leadership team. Cindy is a member and past president of PEO Chapter HM, a member and past president of Century Study Club, and is a member of the Capital City Sailing Association. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. Cindy and her husband, Doug, are the parents of one daughter and one son.
